Mr. Burgess has been serving medically for 14 years. Prior to co-founding Iaomai Medical Ministries, Mr. Burgess spent 5 years studying medical team development. His professional career began in research where he spent a decade on projects ranging from point-of-care testing to molecular pathology. Mr. Burgess holds degrees in biology with emphasis in physiology from the University of California at Davis and post-graduate studies in the Biosciences from the University of California at San Diego.
BRIAN C. TUCKER, MDRCo-Founder

A graduate of Wheaton College and Pepperdine Law School, Mr. Tucker served as Vice President for Charles Schwab & Co. before founding Tucker Development Group and Punta Brava Golf & Ocean Club. Mr. Tucker has been heavily involved in missions to the underserved areas in Latin America since the early 90’s, is fluent in Spanish, and holds a masters degree in Dispute Resolutions.

May earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2000, and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego in 2010. A co-founder of Iaomai, May has worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade, and currently provides legal, leadership and management consulting services to exempt organizations throughout the region. She brings a wealth of governance, legal, and organizational knowledge to Iaomai, an organization whose mission she believes can help bring healing to those most in need.

A graduate of the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and board certified in both Internal Medicine and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Dr. Wagner brings a wealth of medical knowledge to Iaomai Medical Ministries. Dr. Wagner has been practicing medicine for 17 years. He also holds a Masters degree in Theology and Ethics from Trinity Theological Seminary.

Jamie is a graduate of the University of San Diego where she earned an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management. She brings a background of intercultural experiences, including internships with Christian Missionary Fellowship in Chile, and Hope International University’s Intercultural Studies program. Jamie works as the Regional Director for the Special Olympics Southern California, San Diego County, and has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. She is proud to serve as a board member for an organization whose mission is as relevant and inspiring as it is practical.
