Iaomai Medical volunteers have identified a way to help in San Diego through support of the “Do Something World” sponsored by the Rock Church. The Rock knows how to empower and mobilize volunteers like no other. The Rock donated over 600,000 hours to the city in 2009 and up the ante in 2010 to 700,000. On the heels of launching this year’s city wide clean up campaign, the Rock mobilized over 2,000 volunteers to impact the city of San Diego on April 10th. Iaomai volunteers came along side and supported the volunteers by providing onsite medical care. The work continues to go on, if you are a medical professional skilled in occupational health or a similar specialty and you want to serve please contact us.
