Iaomai Medical Ministries works together with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs), private enterprises, and local and national governments to promote sustainability of its medical programs. Part of Iaomai’s vision is to come alongside existing institutions and individuals to help develop, strengthen and offer health-related programs. This has allowed Iaomai Medical to be used all over the world to improve the health of the underserved.
Although our missions seek to serve the poor with their physical needs we also seek to serve their spiritual needs. We believe healing the sick as healthcare professionals is an expression of God’s love in a tangible way. We also believe that Jesus died for all humanity and this is the ultimate expression of God’s love for all people, everywhere. Therefore, each team seeks to serve the poor on each mission trip through the provision of modern medicine as well as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What good would it be to bring healing to the body and neglect the soul? Our mission is ministry to both, “that some may be saved.”
